CTT INCESA’s mission is to develop the communication and capitalization of intellectual property in UCV, the scientific and technological information of economic agents, technology transfer and quality management to increase the competitiveness of enterprises in the energy, environment, renewable energy, materials, nanomaterials, communications and informatics sectors.

The purpose of the activity of CTT INCESA is to promote the protection of intellectual property and to capitalize on the results of scientific research of UCV and its partners, in the context of developing entrepreneurial culture and collaboration with the economic environment in the region, respectively increasing the competitiveness of the center, by implementing integrated innovative training projects – entrepreneurial, technological information and innovation, which aim at modernizing and significantly increasing the level of performance and quality of products, technologies or services performed and / or applied in specific units or sectors, in full agreement with market requirements.

Purpose

The University of Craiova becomes:

Centre for training and development of skills of employees of companies in SV Oltenia in a personalized manner.

Labor supply center through the training and development of students and the creation of permanent communication channels with employers.

Provides students with personalized training modules facilitating their integration into the labor market.

PROJECT SERVICE CENTER: CONSULTING, ASSISTANCE AND MANAGEMENT

The fundamental role of the center is to increase the capacity to participate in European competitions for international research and development projects of all entities requesting support.. Within this center, assistance will be provided to applicants who will want to prepare applications for competitions funded by Horizon 2020 mainly, or other competitions, even the elaboration within the University of Craiova of 7 project proposals for R&D competitions financed by Horizon 2020 or similar programs of the European Union.

Applicants also receive assistance in developing 7 project proposals for R&D competitions funded by Horizon 2020 or similar European Union programs.

The center organizes training / presentation modules ( courses ) for applicants on C-D funding programs at European level, networking and contacting partners and at least 35 workshops held by the project team together with the beneficiaries’ teams and with guests from the European Union funding agencies or potential national and international partners.

OBJECTIVES

Increasing the degree of interest and awareness of European funded programs among research organizations and enterprises in the region concerned by conducting an online and offline promotion campaign for the need for training/ development in terms of accessing programs on European funds and highlighting development opportunities by participating in these programs.

Development of competencies regarding the access of European funds by implementing a complex training program for applicant entities, as well as staff at the University of Craiova, and to offer a theoretical and especially practical guide to initiation in terms of accessing European funds, thus contributing to the increase of Romanian participation in research.

Support and support for research organizations and enterprises in S-V Oltenia in terms of participation in programs to finance research activities and capitalization of results.

Center of Relations with the socio-Economic and Cultural Environment

Center of Relations with the socio-Economic and Cultural Environment (DR-MESC) has as main mission the monitoring of collaboration activities with the socio-economic and cultural environment at the University level, in collaboration with the faculties.

DR-MESC promotes research programs that meet the market requirements for retooling, restructuring and modernization; identifies the demands of economic agents for staff training, technical assistance, legal advice, etc.; identifies foreign economic agents interested in collaborating with the university; monitors the correlation of graduates’ skills with the demands of the labor market; promotes job offers; identifies collaborations at local, regional and national levels; establishes cooperation links with similar departments in the country and abroad. At the base of DR-MESC is an interdisciplinary activity supported by teachers from different faculties within the University of Craiova.

Organisation

The activities of the Centre of Relations with the socio-Economic and Cultural Environment are coordinated by THE DR.-MESC Board, chaired by a Director and subordinated to the Rector who is responsible for scientific research and relations with the economic environment.

THE DR-MESC Board consists of:

• A representative of each faculty within the UCV.

Objective

Ensuring the interface between the University of Craiova and the socio-economic environment by promoting research programs that meet the market requirements for retooling, restructuring and modernization;

• Creating the appropriate framework for the implementation of training activities, technical assistance, consultancy, etc. by launching the university’s offer in the socio-economic and cultural environment, on the one hand and identifying the needs / expectations specific to the socio-economic environment and their correlation with the university’s offer, on the other hand;

• Identification of the requests of economic agents for staff training;

• Promoting personalized internships in order to carry out projects / bachelor works and dissertations, based on topics formulated in collaboration with representatives of the socio-economic and cultural environment;

• Creating the conditions and achieving a partnership between the University of Craiova and the socio-economic environment to support the development of students’ practice in the country or abroad, in order to apply also in this aspect the European system of transferable credits.
